Feb. 18-19, 2021

 English: Please complete your conflict and characters sheet from Thursday, and bring to class on Monday. As well, if you haven't finished Questions 1-4 on "Two Lies," please also ensure those are complete: 

1.)  Draw a table/ venn diagram to show the ways in which the memoirs are similar, and the ways in which they are different. POINT FORM?

2.) Quote two examples of description from the memoir, “Two Lies”.  How do they affect your understanding or how you feel about the story? How do they help the author tell their story?

 

3.) What is one example where the author shares her thoughts and/or feelings? Explain how that helps you understand the importance of the memory.

 

 

4.) Tip: Think for a few minutes before we start recording our answers:

What is the lesson of “Two Lies”? How do you know? Does the other memoir have a lesson? Explain your answer.

 

 Social Studies: Congratulations on having finished your FIRST unit and first presentation! I'm so proud of you all for sharing your work in front of everyone. You all showed great courage and communication skills (and humour, with some of your scripts).
