Ways to Start a Story (list from class)

 
1.     Define a word that is connected to our story. 
2.     Describe the scene or character (imagery)
3.     Puts reader into the situation
4.     Introduce main character directly. 
5.     Begin with exciting plot event, then go back to the beginning
6.     Dialogue/ Speaking in the middle of action
