A Note on Parent-Teacher Conferences

Dear Parents,

Your child will be receiving an interim at some point today. I am under the understanding that the optional Parent-Teacher conferences are to be organized and determined by us. As such, you will be receiving an email today with potential times for us to meet via phone or Zoom, to discuss your child's progress.

The specific dates staggered for your child's class will be sent via email, but in general, my times are from 7AM-7:30 (before office hours), and 3:30/4:00 - 6:00 (a few days of the week,  PM office hours will be canceled to allow for P/T conferences).  This might be a little disorganized, but my thinking is that, if you can provide a preferred time range that you would be available (e.g. Monday, Oct. 26 from 7:00-7:30AM), I can reply back confirming a more specific time in that period (e.g. 7:10-7:17AM).

Typically, parent-teacher meetings would be 5-7 minutes length, and one would rotate from teacher to teacher in the gym. This is my first time coordinating conferences without the assistance of our office software, so please do forgive me in advance for any hiccups along the way. I am also trying to coordinate flexible times with my other classes. I will do my best to ensure your preferences and needs are met.

Thank you for your time, and continued support towards your child's education.
